Last week on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, we competed in an event called Smokin' on Maple. It took place at the American Legion Post 1084 in Roselle, IL. What a great day for cooking; the weather was nice, and the ribs turned out great. The event included a fundraiser to support veterans, where you could purchase tickets and go around to each contestant and sample their BBQ. It was a lot of great food and great people.
